I wanted to finally write you and tell you how lovely it was to play your beautiful harps at Dickens Fair. While I enjoyed all of your instruments, me being a professional harpist don't cha know, I most appreciated the Rhiannon that was up on the stage.
First of all, the instrument has an elegant and hand hewn look to it. I found it lovely from a purely visual standpoint. Now, from my practiced hands I noticed that the tone was even from the deep and smooth bass to the bell-like upper strings. The tension was firm and appropriate for expression. I liked very much the progression through the ranges and string composition. I felt it was artfully thought out in that regard.
One thing I have noticed in your harp building and your playing is a lovely inclusion of the Paraguayan harp aesthetic, specifically the full and carrying bass along with the physical lightness of the instrument. Additionally the amp setup you had was really nice.
I would happily use your Rhiannon to play for events and recordings. Bravo!"

The Rhiannon body is inspired by the ancient Celtic harps. An even medium-high tension stringing pulls a rich bass and a bright treble out of the box, supported by a bass port and well-sized soundbox.
It has a traditional flat back and generously wide soundboard, yet is narrow enough at the top to rest comfortably on the shoulder. In fact, the Rhiannon's ergonomics are great, falling gently but firmly onto the body at a height appropriate for most players.
As of Summer, 2008, all Rhiannons feature the wonderfully responsive Compound Soundboard™, which utilizes the world's finest tonewoods. A bass port is the final touch to produce punch and sustain throughout. Your choice of woods and full De La Cour or Loveland levers.
